Welcome back to the 2015-2016 School Year
The courage to lead is not defined by your title. Leadership comes from small acts, relationship building and leads to radical acts of self sacrifice, and in our case, for children. As advocates for children, our leadership is expressed in every look, smile, word or silence we bestow on them and their families. Leadership starts with noticing, and situational awareness that leads to action. Action that repairs and builds relationships, action that inspires and defends, and action that flow through a moral compass of "being the right thing to do". As you open your classrooms, yourselves, to another school year, small acts of leadership makes a difference to us all!
