I have some girls in 8th grade who had both of you last year and they are rocking our first list of word stems because they learned them with you guys! Awesome job :D :D
Program Visibility: NABE Writing Contest-Chicago!
Last year, Luis Albiter WON the first prize in the middle school category for his essay on the importance of being bilingual and went to Las Vegas to accept his award!This year all 8th grade Pre-AP Spanish Students will participate too!
This is a great opportunity to also submit to WIABE later in the year, and to prepare for a district wide award! These writing samples will also prepare students to be great stewards of the program during parent information nights, See it LIVE! and even in the Freeman!
Writing is DUE to the Bilingual Office by September 24th!!!!!
A BOX will be sent with each classes writing and coversheet!
Be sure to include the cover sheet!
