Free Class from WIDA



DPI is partnering with WIDA to pilot two (free) e-workshops to educators of English learners: Reading Supports for Multilingual Students and Home Languages in the Classroom; these classes are intended for educators who are new to teaching English learners.

These classes will be offered next year as part of WIDA’s PLU professional learning options and are created by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s ICMEE .

These classes are mostly asynchronous and completed independently following a schedule, however there are 3 mandatory online meetings for participants.
