Multilingual Update
Celebrations:
Our SDW Students will be the first awarded in the State of Wisconsin with the Prestigious Seal of Biliteracy Award!!
NEWS and DATES:
Assessment Windows are open for PALs 4K-2, STAR Spanish Reading (Grades 2-7), AAPPL Spanish Assessment (7th Grade) and end of year Benchmarks for Running Records (Spanish A-L/21, and English Starting in 2nd Grade)
DUAL LANGUAGE BIG ROCKS 2017-2018
Oracy and Meta-linguistic Awareness will remain the big rocks of practice in our department. Grades 2-5 will focus on the development of these practices in the BUFS and across the curriculum, and K-1 will focus on the development of these practices in ELD and across the curriculum.
